Kansas City, MO — Rising Midwest artist Markcus Sanders has officially signed a distribution deal with EMPIRE, the San Francisco-based independent music company known for launching some of the biggest names in hip hop and R&B.

EMPIRE — led by CEO and founder Ghazi Shami — has been the launchpad for heavy hitters like Kendrick Lamar, Cardi B, Anderson .Paak, and DRAM, while also distributing music for legends and modern icons including Snoop Dogg, Tyga, Iggy Azalea, The Free Nationals, and XXXTentacion.
